  We found Hojys after numerous attempts to find a pizza that was close to East Coast style. Hojys is by far the best kept secret - maybe better than any East Coast pizza. The flavour of the sauce is just right, flavourful but not sweet nor too spicy, the consistent amount of toppings is perfection, the crust is the perfect thickness and never undercooked! Truly a perfect pizza pie in my opinion.

  Wow! Amazing pizza! I eat pizza two or three times a week, and I often come across great pizza places, but Hojy's deserves a special mention. It's hard to describe what makes Hojy's so great, but it's basically a combination of perfect crust, just a bit crispy on the edges, beautiful sauce that I would drink if it came in a bottle, and generous quality toppings. This is a busy little place, and I'm sure the guys work their #$& off to keep up with the orders, but they take the time to cheerfully interact with all customers, in person or over the phone. I literally couldn't eat it, so I called one of the only places close by and still open. I told Hojy my story and he said he'd make me a pizza that wouldn't disappoint. He wasn't kidding. I walked in the door and he strutted over to me and passed me my pie with great pride. Damn that was a good pizza. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Hojy's is a locally owned business, where you get to actually chat with him on the phone, and come in to pick up your pizza from a friendly owner who you can tell truly cares! He's the type of person where he wants you to arrive on time so that your pizza is as fresh as possible.

  Not only is the service great, but the pizza can hold it's own. He uses fresh ingredients, handmade dough, and the pizza is so loaded with toppings that it feels heavy. It tastes homemade, fresh, unique, and not greasy. It is definitely worth the price! I would recommend The Mediterranean pizza and the Cheesy Bread. Hojy's is one of the last great "mom and pop" shops that you must try!

  Tired this place for the first time a couple weeks ago. The pizza was great for the most part. Really good crust and loaded with toppings. The sauce had a odd texture to it though.

  I had just picked up a pizza from one of those dime a dozen franchises I hadn't eaten at before and got a thin cardboard-like inedible pie. I literally couldn't eat it, so I called one of the only places close by and still open. I told Hojy my story and he said he'd make me a pizza that wouldn't disappoint. He wasn't kidding. I walked in the door and he strutted over to me and passed me my pie with great pride. Damn that was a good pizza. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

  Hojy's is serving up a pretty good pie. The topping, cheese and sauce were all top notch but the crust was a bit under baked on the bottom. Overall a solid pizza but not near the top of my list for Calgary zza.

  Had a 12 inch garlic sausage, meat sauce, onion and mushroom pizza and was extremely impressed with the overall quality. The cheese to sauce ratio was perfect, the quantity and quality of the toppings were superb and the price was more than fair for this tasty pie! Will definitely be back in the near future and highly recommend giving Hojy’s a try.

  This is the best, freshest pizza in Calgary. The owner does it all from taking the orders to the cooking and he makes sure each pizza is GREAT. We have been there many times and have moved from the area but gladly drive a half hour for his pizza

  Wow! Amazing pizza! I eat pizza two or three times a week, and I often come across great pizza places, but Hojy's deserves a special mention. It's hard to describe what makes Hojy's so great, but it's basically a combination of perfect crust, just a bit crispy on the edges, beautiful sauce that I would drink if it came in a bottle, and generous quality toppings. This is a busy little place, and I'm sure the guys work their #$& off to keep up with the orders, but they take the time to cheerfully interact with all customers, in person or over the phone. These guys aren't merely shovelling product out the door, they genuinely want you to love their pizza, and I guarantee you will.

Hojy's is a locally owned business, where you get to actually chat with him on the phone, and come in to pick up your pizza from a friendly owner who you can tell truly cares! He's the type of person where he wants you to arrive on time so that your pizza is as fresh as possible. Not only is the service great, but the pizza can hold it's own. He uses fresh ingredients, handmade dough, and the pizza is so loaded with toppings that it feels heavy. It tastes homemade, fresh, unique, and not greasy. It is definitely worth the price! I would recommend The Mediterranean pizza and the Cheesy Bread. Hojy's is one of the last great "mom and pop" shops that you must try!

  Aside from the fact that you can order on a phone, talk to the guy who owns the place and not be going through an automated system at some chain is a major plus. The pizza itself is perfection.

  The crust, let me tell you about the crust. It is soft, and crunchy, and there is a little ball of bread in the middle of your pizza. Next, we move onto the sauce which has a myriad of herbs and spices that my tastebuds have never experienced before. Now the meat and cheese, cooked perfectly and resting upon this heavenly sauce.

  Words can't describe this pizza. The only way to describe it is to phone Hojy and order a pizza that may change your pizza life as you know it.

  Tried a slice of a friend's pie several weeks ago and made a point of ordering from Hojy's the next time the pizza craving hit. In hot weather, my cooking motivation is low so we built our own 5 topping pizza.

  Ham, Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, Onions and Black Olives = Definitely Ordering Again! Less than $22 for a fully loaded 14 inch pizza.

  Hojy's puts a cute circle of pizza dough in the centre of the pie. You taste it and are thankful you didn't order from the chains, it's that fresh breadiness where you can taste the faint sweetness without the abuse of salt for flavor.

  Then the toppings are generous and co-mingle under a generous layer of gooey mozzarella. I've been wasting money's at Sammy's lately and will stop immediately and order from here now on.

  Can't wait to try more options.
